Welcome to my Wiki! I am in the process of moving resources from a variety of other webpages and file folders from an old computer while moving folders to a brand new MacBook Pro, and in the process am putting some of them in this space to share with others. Hopefully you will share with me as well as this is a developing resource for the classroom. There may be resources here that could be used in English classes ranging from Middle School to the 10th grade as well, however. It is up to you!

I find this all very exciting as I love to use technology in my classroom. The most difficult thing is learning mastery over one set of technology tools before introducing something else into the mix in my excitement because I have found that even though my students are tech savvy, even they have a tolerance level that can be breached for how many new tech tools I bring into their lessons. Soon I begin hearing, "Now, are we blogging this, or uploading it somewhere else?" It's instant feedback, and I know it's time to slow the tech down!

Note: I have borrowed many resources already from others online over the years and have tried my best to give credit in my PowerPoint presentations, for photos that are not public domain, etc. If anyone finds I have used resources and have not given proper credit, please contact me immediately so that I can rectify that situation. There is no sense in stressing anti-plagiarism messages to our students, especially when it comes to web usage, if we cannot abide by the same standards.

My husband and I have spent five summers in Italy, using Rome as a home base, and exploring the rest of the country from there. It's our home away

Burning Question

How can we teach teenagers the difficult questions of life when cognitive science tells us that they don't yet understand consequences?
